Gregory Hughes Gregory Hughes, 56, a naval architect in Bremerton, Wash., died November 5, 2022, of diabetic problems. A member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME), he worked for Art Anderson & Associates in Bremerton, Guido Perla & Associates Inc. in Seattle as a ship designer and engineer and with Perla's offshoot, BeroTech LLC.
