Musicians from the Bremerton WestSound Symphony will appear in two holiday events this week.The 'Nutcracker' is a part of the community in a way that is unlike any other production I know. Small children watch it wide-eyed and enraptured. Seeing youngsters on stage who are just a bit older, they ask when they will be able to join the company. Many of them ultimately do join and stay for years.When I meet with Kitsap County arts patrons, sponsors, community leaders, and folks who just happen to love classical music and dance, I often find that they have family members who have danced in our 'Nutcracker' production.
