Winterfest event The tree lighting at Winterfest in Bremerton will take place at 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Naval Museum. Santa and others will arrive by fire truck at 5:30, and the Bremerton High School band will perform until the tree lighting. Free pictures will be available with Santa from 6-7 p.m. On Dec. 8, a free showing of the holiday classic movie 'Polar Express' will take place at 1 p.m. at the Roxy Theatre. Also, Bremerton's First Friday Art Walk will be from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 2. Music, art and gifts will be part of the festivities, along with vendor pop-ups.
