The Naval Destroyer Museum in Bremerton, Washington features the U.S.S. Turner Joy Museum Ship. The Turner Joy was commissioned in 1959 and decommissioned in 1982. According to the Museum: 'The Turner Joy is a Destroyer, a warship known for its speed and guns! Destroyers were known as ‘Greyhounds of the sea' and also as ‘Tin Cans' due to their lightweight construction.' The bridge, shown in the photographs below, is the room where the ship can be commanded.
