A 60-year-old pedestrian was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Friday night after being hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross Highway 303 near Fred Meyer, according to the Washington State Patrol.The pedestrian, a man, was attempting to cross from the northbound shoulder to the southbound shoulder of Highway 303 at Furneys Lane at about 9:30 p.m. and failed to use a designated pedestrian crosswalk, according to a memo released by the state patrol. He was hit by a 25-year-old Bremerton man driving a 2008 blue Ford Ranger pickup headed southbound at the intersection.
